Alla Koren

Alla has been practicing law in Toronto and Richmond Hill since February of 1995. At present, Alla Koren restricts her practice to the area of family law. 


Alla Koren has always operated as a sole practitioner. Her office is situated in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. She represents clients of diverse backgrounds and within a wide range of family law issues. 


Alla Koren completed her education and training in Ontario, obtaining her degrees at York University and the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. Although her command of the English language is perfect, Alla Koren's first language is Russian. She remains fluent in this language, communicating with ease in this language and being capable of accommodating any client with difficulties in the English language.

Victoria Tundo, Associate

Victoria Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto in 2006. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Calgary in 2009. After practicing litigation for a short time in Calgary earlier that year, Victoria was called to the Bar in Ontario in November, 2010.   Since returning to Ontario, Victoria has focused her practice on Family Law, and joined Koren Associates in April, 2013. Victoria is currently in the process of obtaining her designations as a Mediator, Arbitrator, and Parenting Coordinator. 

 

Her personal and professional approach, background, experience, skill set, and dedication are an excellent complement to the philosophy and approach that we aim to provide to our clients. Victoria’s contribution to Koren Associates is also valued for her ability to accommodate clients who require a Russian speaking lawyer. Victoria is compassionate, knowledgeable, and fair. She has the unique ability to make each client feel comfortable and secure during one of the most difficult times in one’s life. 


Victoria prides herself in her ability to reach creative solutions and negotiate fair and reasonable agreements for her clients, including separation agreements and marriage contracts. In addition to being an effective negotiator, Victoria is a vigorous and successful litigator. 


Victoria volunteers her time as a presenter at the Mandatory Information Programs (MIP), put forth by the Ministry of the Attorney General, to educate and inform litigants about the court process, alternative dispute resolutions, and the various issues that arise out of their separation.

Irina Dvorkina, Law Clerk

Irina has been employed with the law office of Alla Koren since the early stages of the practice. She is a court certified interpreter and translator of the English/Russian languages and offers her assistance and services to the clients of the law firm. She is also authorized and frequently attends court hearings in various jurisdictions in the capacity of an interpreter, therefore being able to offer her experience to the clients of Alla Koren's law firm. 


All participants of the law office of Alla Koren are fluently able to communicate with the clients in the Russian language, including the bookkeeper and process server, therefore offering the Russian speaking clients full easy access to any information that they may require from the law office of Alla Koren.
